Make-Up Days

At Huntington-Surrey, students who have been excessively tardy, absent or unprepared (as described in the School Policies) must make up the missed work on specified days at the end of each quarter.

Make-up Day Rules

1. Students must pay $25 per hour they are required to make up. Parents are encouraged to find a way for students to pay for these fees themselves if their actions are responsible for accruing the make-up hours.
2. Students must arrive and be in their classes by 8:30 on Make-up Day. Late students will not be admitted to class, and that hour will be added on at the end of the day.
3. Students who have make-up hours lasting into the afternoon will need to bring food or make other plans for lunch

Make-Days for the 2005/06 school year are as follows:

• Friday March 3 (3rd Quarter)
• Friday May 19 (Seniors-4th Quarter)
• Monday May 22 and Tuesday May 23 (non-Seniors, 4th Quarter)
