Huntington-Surrey School is a small, eclectic community built on relationship and respect.
Our commitment to academics is mirrored by our commitment to helping students develop into healthy, respectful individuals. Our first priority is to make our campus safe enough and comfortable enough for our students to learn.
Teachers and students are on a first-name basis. Students benefit from interaction with caring adults who serve as mentors and role models. Students find cameraderie with peers they may never have interacted with in a larger school environment.
Small class sizes mean everyone knows everyone, and it limits a “class” system. It helps break down walls. Everyone is on the same level – everyone is here to learn.
